Our DMX gateways are used to integrate lights, spots, spotlights or LED strips with DMX protocol. DMX is used primarily in event and stage technology but also in pool technology. Our DMX gateway is designed to control a DMX universe with 512 DMX registers. A simple DMX spot usually requires 1 DMX register for brightness (0-255), a RGB spot requires 4 DMX registers, one each for red, yellow and green.
Our gateways are intended for connection to any type of controller:
PCs, PLCs, DDCs, media controls, minicomputers, Raspberry Pi's, Arduino's or special hardware
The gateways are integrated via MODBUS protocol or using simple ASCII text commands.
