RESI-SMIx-SIO,ETH,DIAG

Our SMI gateways allow the control of shades and blinds with SMI motor. SMI stands for Standard Motor Interface®. Up to 16 SMI shades or blinds can be controlled by one SMI gateway.

If your controller supports the MODBUS/RTU master protocol or send/receives simple ASCII text strings via a serial interface (RS232 or RS485) then our RESI-SMIx-SIO gateways are the right choice. Also this gateways allow the use with the original SMI EasyMonitor3 software to commission all shades and blinds.

If your controller is able to communicate with Ethernet and MODBUS/TCP Client or ASCII sockets, then use our RESI-SMIx-ETH gateways.

Both types of gateways have a build-in SMI bus power supply to drive the communication with the shades and blinds.

Our special RESI-SMI16-DIAG gateway has no internal power supply and is designed to sniff the communication on a SMI line in case of problems for diagnostic reasons.

Our gateways are intended for connection to any type of controller:
PCs, PLCs, AutoGers, media controls, minicomputers, Raspberry Pi's, Arduino's or special hardware

The gateways are integrated via MODBUS protocol or using simple ASCII text commands.

Use the original SMI Software SMI EasyMonitor3 together with our RESI-SMIx-SIO gateways to configure and test your SMI shades and blinds.
